Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation Expands Board Leadership with Five New Members
Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation proudly announces the appointment of five distinguished leaders to its Board of Directors: Ella Chase, Eileen A. Kamerick, Steven G. Osgood, Barbara Ann Sellinger, and Monica Van Buskirk. Each brings a record of leadership, civic engagement, and commitment to strengthening communities through the arts, education, and philanthropy.
“We’re proud to welcome these exceptional leaders to our Board,” said Tania Castroverde Moskalenko, CEO of the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation. “Each brings not only deep expertise, but a genuine commitment to this community and to the role the arts play in bringing people together. As we continue advancing our mission, their leadership will help ensure we’re building a performing arts center that reflects and serves Sarasota, now and for generations to come.
Ella Chase Hyland founded Chase Impacts, an advisory practice specializing in generational systems architecture for visionary families and philanthropic institutions. She leads ultra-high-net-worth families on governance transformation, next-generation engagement, and legacy strategy. Her work integrates behavioral economics, human-centered design, and impact methodology to create flourishing communities. Ella is committed to impact and well-being for all. She serves on multiple boards locally and nationally and is based in Sarasota, Florida.
Eileen A. Kamerick is CEO of The Governance Partners, LLC, where she consults and lectures on corporate governance and compliance. A nationally recognized board leader, she is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow and holds the NACD Director Professionalism Certification. Kamerick’s executive experience includes senior financial leadership roles at BP Amoco Americas, ConnectWise, Press Ganey Associates, and Houlihan Lokey. She currently serves on several prominent public and private boards, including the Cristo Rey Tampa Bay High School and Christ the King High School. She is also deeply engaged in community service, including board service with the Alzheimer’s Association as Chair of the Investment Committee.
Steven G. Osgood is Chief Executive and Financial Officer of Square Foot Companies, LLC, a Cleveland-based commercial real estate firm focused on self-storage and single-tenant assets. He has led the company since 2008, overseeing its growth and long-term strategy. Osgood also brings significant public company governance experience, holding board positions with Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure Capital, Inc. and National Storage Affiliates Trust. He has been active in community service, including leadership roles with the national board of the Alzheimer’s Association, where he was Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.
Barbara Ann Sellinger adds decades of legal and governance leadership across the nonprofit, corporate, and public sectors. She is the former Chair and General Counsel of ArtsHorizons and currently remains engaged with the organization as Treasurer of the Board. Her legal career includes senior roles at Kamine Development Corp., Wyndham Worldwide, American Standard, and RJR Nabisco, where she focused on labor, employment, and litigation matters at the highest organizational levels. Earlier in her career, Sellinger worked with both the National Labor Relations Board Division of Judges and the U.S. Department of Labor. Her civic involvement includes long-standing leadership with the American Cancer Society, where she has held Chair and Vice-Chair roles with the Northwest New Jersey Advisory Board since 2015.
Monica Van Buskirk brings extensive nonprofit, philanthropic, and corporate leadership experience to the Board, including her prior service as President and CEO from 2012 to 2017, when the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation operated as the Van Wezel Foundation. Prior to the Foundation, Van Buskirk held senior leadership roles across many corporations, including President and CEO of Monica’s Best Foods, Vice President of Marketing for Godiva Chocolatier and Vice President for Pepperidge Farms and Campbell Soup Company. She currently serves as a Trustee of Forty Carrots Family Center.
